System Based Safety System for Working in Operating Area of Mobile Machine
Manufacturing industries, including steel plants, cement factories, mines, and all production plants, utilize large or small yard equipment and mobile machines. During the production process, routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection activities are carried out while the machine is still in motion within the vicinity.
Present Practice
Safety during these activities are completely man dependent. Different banners and signages are deployed and a person is stationed near the emergency push button (PB) station, and they activate the push button when the machine approaches the work area. However, this arrangement places complete safety responsibility on the individual, and if they fail to react in time, a disastrous incident may occur.
